14 hours there and 11 hours returning. Andrew slept for 10 hours each way. When he was awake he was in great spirits. No horror stories. He adjusted easily to the time change in the Philippines, however since we have returned he is struggling with his internal clock. Here are some pictures of our new home in the Philippines as well as some pics of Andrew at his first year birthday.

Wow that is great that the flights went well- I remember a guy yelling at me once on a plane because one of my Twins would not stop crying. You are lucky.
Your home is beautiful- do you get to visit often?
I love the pictures and your home is beautiful! Andrew is adorable as always!
Hi Kate,
Before I had a child, I would dread the family on the plane..Please don't sit next to me..please...but I was never rude to anyone. That is terrible that a man would yell at you for a baby who was crying. He should know better...That unforutnately was just an ass.
We go back once per year. We are headed back in October 2009. VERY Excited.
Thanks Two Moms With a Plan...we are so proud of our little Andrew. The most important thing we can get out of this blog is a true story for our son to go back and visit. There will be many questions and here I hope he can find some answers and get a feeling of completeness.
You guys are VERY brave! We travel domestically, usually to Pennsylvania. As much as we would like to venture outside the U.S. (we love to travel!), we have not made any plans to travel abroad. We have talked about it...we plan to do something when the little one is at least four.
