Beautiful! When I was a kid, I was bullied...relentlessly, but I turned out OK. Our daughter is starting Pre-K here soon, after determining that we would wait for kindergarten. But, with the social issues she will deal with, we thought it best to get an earlier start!

Wonderfully written! Thank you for sharing this piece so that I can further pass it along. I have a 13 year old son and hope and pray every day that he's strong enough to handle the bullying that may come his way and also that we have an open enough relationship that he's comfortable coming to us when and if it gets too much.
Life is hard enough and kids shouldn't have to deal with bullying on top of everything else. I'm hoping we're changing the fabric of our country by raising strong, compassionate kids.
